Congratulations to the MSLSC Bronze Squad

The CVA was run last Saturday at Nobbys Beach.  The MSLSC Bronze team performed with great skill in the challenging conditions, bringing credit to our club.  A celebration BBQ was held on Sunday and the uniforms were presented.  Congratulations to our new patrolling members.

New IRB Drivers and Crew

MSLSC has three new IRB drivers and there new IRB crew. They all passed with flying colours at the CVA held on Stockton Beach on Sunday 14 April. Many thanks to Nathan and his team for their training and expertise.

New Bronze Medallion Team

Congratulations to our new Bronze Medallion team. They all did MSLSC proud at the CVA on Stockton Beach on 13 April. A celebration BBQ was held on Sunday 14 April, where the patrol uniforms were presented. Many thanks to the training team for their dedication, time and expertise.

Spinal Management Training

Our Surf Lifesaving Award team have been refining their spinal management skills on Merewether Beach.

Bronze Medallion Course

Some of our participants of the current MSLSC Bronze Medallion course. We have 15 members on the team working towards the CVA (Central Venue Assessment) on Stockton Beach on 6 April (and very importantly having a lot of fun in the process).

Radio Operators Course

MSLSC will be running a Radio Operators Course on Wednesday 20 March commencing at 6:00pm. The course is completed over a single evening. See Training Courses under the Education tab for more information.

Bronze Medallion

The MSLSC summer Bronze Medallion course will now commence on Wednesday 30 January, 2019.  Please look at Training Courses under the Education tab for more information.

Spinal & ART Proficiency

Santa came early to the iconic Merewether Beach on the Sunday before Christmas. The nippers had a ball.

Radio Operators Course at MSLSC

The Radio Operators Certificate course was run at MSLSC on Wednesday 7 November.  Henry Scruton from Hunter Branch kindly gave up his time to deliver the course.

Spinal Management Proficiency Session

MSLSC will be running a Spinal Management proficiency session on the evening of Wednesday evening 31 October at 6:00pm.  It will largely practical and held rain, hail or shine.  You will need warm gear and wetsuit.  Duration will be around 1 1/2 hours and the meeting place is the MSLSC Patrol Room.
